Software Business Analyst (Clearance)
Employment Type: Full-Time
The Business Analyst will work alongside other business analysts and report directly to the project manager. Your main tasks will include performing detailed requirements analysis, documenting processes, and performing some user acceptance testing.
Responsibilities include: Conducting meetings and presentations to share ideas and findings. Working collaboratively in an agile environment to design solutions for government clients, including collaboration with developers. Performing requirements analysis. Capturing, evaluating and grooming business requirements to create clear business process and workflow. Serving as a liaison between stakeholders and users. Gathering critical information from meetings with various stakeholders and producing useful reports. Performing user acceptance testing. Evaluating business processes, anticipating requirements, uncovering areas for improvement, and developing and implementing solutions. Leading ongoing reviews of business processes and developing optimization strategies. Capturing the tactical and strategic enterprise goals that provide traceability through the organization and are mapped to metrics that provide ongoing governance Documenting and communicating the results of your efforts.
Requirements: A Bachelor’s Degree and at least 3 years of experience in business analysis or related field Must have experience supporting software implementations through the full SDLC Experience working in a team-based delivery environment, preferable in agile scrum teams Demonstrated ability to elicit, document, analyze and verify requirements Experience leading requirements workshops, or requirements review sessions Exceptional analytical and conceptual thinking skills Strong communication/interpersonal skills Active Secret Clearance
