DRT is seeking a Senior Enterprise Architect to provide enterprise and data architecture services in support of a federal customers.
Responsibilities: Review existing artifacts, to include previous stakeholder interviews, capability models, IT road map, and Agency EA, to build a holistic view of the organization's strategy, processes, information, and IT assets. Use this knowledge to ensure that the business goals and IT are in alignment. Create architectural models or views that show how the current and future needs of an organization will be met in an efficient, sustainable, agile, and adaptable manner. Design and implement models and interfaces to provide for present and future cross-functional requirements and interfaces. Identify, assess, and present options for meeting the functional and technical requirements. Convert existing requirements into the architecture and design that constitute the blueprint for the final solution. Update and support the Enterprise Architecture and Integration Management plan which describes the baseline architecture, target architecture, and transition plan to the target architecture Design, implement, and manage the solution architecture in relation to business needs. Collaborate with Portfolio Owners, Product Owners, as needed, and the development team architects to collect the enterprise or portfolio-level architecture information Develop and support security architecture, network architecture, infrastructure architecture, cloud architecture. Support the planning, development and evolution of the architecture using tools appropriate to capture a conceptual, logical and physical architecture Support and maintain the technical roadmap, architectural change management plan, and post architectural implementation review documentation Ensure that the solutions proposed are compatible and in compliance with the organization and other applicable Federal Standards for security, interoperability, accessibility and optimized data management (e.g., sharing, analytics, etc.) Develop Technical diagram models, UML/Conceptual that represent the as-is and to be vision of the Agency’s Enterprise Architecture. Document all facets of data standards and develop the Master Data Management (MDM) and Governance plan Schedule and facilitate architecture status meetings with key stakeholders, as needed. Summarize information in Status Reports, as needed. Coordinate with Government personnel to perform quality assurance on the data, manage changes to the metadata including impact on both development and operations, and provide analysis of existing data in support of data quality management. Coordinate with Government representatives on a daily basis as required Monitor and analyze industry and technology trends to make recommendations.
Qualifications: 10+ years of systems architecture experience Excellent leadership, communication (verbal and written) and collaboration skills with track record of taking solution ownership and accountability. Experience in evaluating best fit technologies for enterprises Experience in presenting technology roadmaps to program executives Experience as a solutions architect in various IT domains Experience as an Enterprise Architect (federal agencies preferred) Experience with EA modeling software Extensive experience in the application of Enterprise Architecture Knowledge of Enterprise Architecture design, development, documentation and deployment techniques
Preferred Experience Previous experience and knowledge of federal applications and systems
Education and Training Bachelor’s degree is required TOGAF, FEA(F) or DODAF or other EA certifications
