Hospitalist team with minimal turnover. Current lead will stay with team in a non-lead role. Strong support from the team, hospital, and staff.
Flexible block schedule will be 15 shifts per month doing 85-90% Hospitalist and 10-15% administrative responsibilities. Mostly days with some night blocks during the year. Extra pay for any shifts over 15 during the month.
Reasonable patient census is 15-18 with no procedures required as they have full specialty support.
The Lead Hospitalist will report to the Director overseeing all the Hospitalist programs for the hospital system. Be part of a top rated physician-led organization that is included on lists for top employers in Virginia and in the US.
Will consider Board Certified Hospitalists with at least 4-5 years experience.
Internal Medicine & Family Medicine trained candidates considered to see an all adult patient base.
